The breakfast was outstanding with a lot of variety. The location of the hotel was within walking distance to restaurants and shops. Excellent staff.
The rooms were dark because of a lack of good lighting.

Great hotel with almost every positive aspect. Spectacular location overlooking the pools and sea. Just a short walk from the famous Boca del Infierno. Free parking inside but not very big. However outside there were no complications in parking. treatment of the staff is excellent. large room with separate lounge and integrated kitchen. Two televisions. clean room. Kitchen a little old and with some furniture unhooked although we do not use it. lot of heat in the room that we did not know where it came from. We slept in the middle of December with the windows a bit open. Correct bathroom, although with the roof a bit low and bathtub a bit high. Quite a lot of pressure on the taps and easy to regulate temperature. TV didn't look clear, picture was a bit "foggy". Spectacular breakfast buffet. Toast, fruit, pastries, yoghurts, pancakes, scrambled eggs and much more. pool area was not used but looked spectacular. Three swimming pools, one of them for children with slides. We were very satisfied.

Nice and large room, large bed windows to the garden where birds sing. The hotel is popular - full even in March, guests - Germans, Englishmen, Danes and Norwegians at the age of 50+. The hotel is located in a very quiet place, you will have a great rest and sleep. The place is considered prestigious enough.
Continental monotonous breakfast in 4 days is boring, it happens in any hotel. the coffee here is disgusting. Portuguese make good coffee in general, not in this hotel, where at breakfast there was not even a basic coffee machine, only a can with brown peel... location of the hotel is both plus and minus. On the one hand, it's on some kind of a bend and it's quiet and peaceful. On the other hand - to go to the center of Cascais and beach about 15 minutes, to the station 20-25. Shops, bars, coffee shops are not nearby, there is no public transport, i. e. you either come by car or walk to civilization a quarter of an hour on foot.

location is excellent, close to Cascais, an area of restaurants and services. In addition, it now has an exit from the garden that avoids a detour. They have improved the psychine area, now more comfortable and with better views. Although the parking is very limited you can park in the outside area and street, unless you want to park in the door, being August I had no problem in leaving the car well parked
The lighting in the room is very poor, they must reform that aspect in the rooms. It is a well managed hotel (hardly any queues in spite of the influx), but in August it was packed and we had a feeling of chaos at breakfast. They can improve the quality of the breakfast a little bit, without being bad. In the swimming pool many people leave their towels in hammocks to take up space. Sometimes you go there and there is no one there all morning, you have to control that issue a little

Free parking, outside but free. rooms are very big and comfortable and bathroom is very accessible and complete. It has a complete kitchen incorporated although we do not use it. large terraces with table and chairs, we were given some passes to visit all the museums in the city for free. They are worth it, and it was a very grateful detail. Discounts in the SPA that we do not use.
rooms have NO HEATING, only air conditioning. I know it's a coastal hotel, it's cold on the coast too. Just a sad blanket to fight it. They gave us a room on the 5th floor and, because of the air I guess, there were tremendous noises of something metal hitting each other, something big. I pay for the whole stay IN ADVANCE, something that usually happens to me only in "hotelitos". I have to say that in Vila Gale de Coimbra the same thing happened, it must be a matter of the hotel chain. I checked if the air conditioning was "inverter", no, just cold. There are rooms overlooking the sea and others overlooking the park. I was told that rooms overlooking the sea must be reserved in advance, my reservation was made two months in advance, so I don't know when the time should be in advance. Then, from the outside I had the impression that a large number of them were empty, hotel restaurant is expensive, it was to be expected, there is nothing nearby for lunch or dinner. There is room service with reasonable prices, menu is scarce. To get out of the way it is very good.

Fine sea view from the balcony made mornings lovely.
The furniture in the living area was quite outdated and uncomfortable.

Thank you for an awesome stay. The hotel is wonderful and fairly clean, nestled in an amazing building with particularly good view of the ocean and lighthouse. The rooms are tidy and breathtaking, with climate control and nice wooden floor.

Great location near the marina and the beach. The room had a lovely view of the ocean, a fantastic start to the day. Breakfast offered a wide variety, especially enjoyed the freshly baked pastries and the omelet station. The pool area was clean with plenty of lounge chairs. Staff were helpful when needed, particularly for organizing local excursions. The air conditioning in the room struggled to keep cool was great. Communication regarding room availability upon early check-in could have been clearer. The evening dining options started later than ideal, especially for families. Would appreciate improvements in these areas, but overall a solid experience.

excellent location, size of the room, incredible views from the huge terrace, improvements in the pools although the renovation of the children's pool is still pending. hammock area is large and playground, although it can be improved, is very comfortable. breakfast is correct although not very thought for children. staff, in general, is very friendly and attentive.
We had an ant invasion problem in the bedroom closet, and it was a fifth floor. We found ants all over the clothes and had to take them off one by one. The solution from the reception was to do a complete cleaning of the room which solved the problem to a great extent, even some absent-minded ants visited us during the stay. Another problem is the smells coming from the kitchen pipes. Although perhaps the most annoying thing was the attitude of the cleaning lady our last day. We left the room ten minutes before the check-out deadline and she was outside waiting for us to leave the room, sitting there with her arms crossed and making a bad face, and when we said goodbye she neither looked at us nor answered us. He failed to escort us out.

Our room wishes expressed at the time of booking have been fully taken into account. Moreover, we were given an ocean view room at no extra charge. Breakfast - standard for Europe - is delicious, but monotonous. In 12 days, everything was full. The hotel is conveniently located to the railway station and bus station Cascais about 20 minutes on foot. To the city center it is even closer. To the ocean - 5 minutes on foot - only the hotel is located near - and already on the shore. The hotel is adjoined by a very nice park named after Carmona - with flowers, ponds, chickens and ducks. The room had the category of "standard", but actually consisted of 2 rooms - they are spacious, bright and with a large balcony. Cleaning is made daily and with high quality.
Maybe we can recommend making breakfasts more varied.

The hotel offers spacious rooms with great amenities and a lovely pool area. Breakfast had a decent spread, though it did get quite busy. The location is perfect, mere minutes from the marina. The pool experience could be marred by noisy guests and improper sunbed management.
